I installed SPE (the IDE for python), but all I get is a bunch of errors. I've already installed wxpython and such. But I'd rather not mess with it. I'll just use gedit.

Anyway, I installed it using a RPM. But when I do this to search for it, I get nothing:

rpm -q spe-0.8.2a-wx2.6.1.0-py2.4

So can anyone tell me how to remove it? My system doesn't even think it's installed. :(

Try the plain
rpm -q spe You can specify just a package name. yum's a good tool, try
yum remove spe which will remove any dependencies as well.

First command gives:

package spe is not installed

Second command gives:

Nothing to do
