I was wondering if there were a place where I could see how good the support is for different language.

The thing is, I am setting up a PC for my aunt, and I am considering Fedora, but she's not exactly good with modern english, and especially not in the computer, so it's important that she gets a distro with good support for danish, but I don't know how well Fedora's support for it is, for example Mandriva is quite good in this area, Ubuntu is coming along, SUSE's danish translation seems like it is made by the devil at times etc. etc.

Also, I'd be interested to know which parts are not so well translated, because say for example that Rhythmbox wasn't well translated, I could swap Banshee in if it was better.

GNOME has some basic statistics about translating the desktop. (http://l10n-status.gnome.org/)

Beyond that probably finding Fedora users who speak Danish would be a good idea. Perhaps a local user group, I don't know of specific mailing lists or communities.
