Hi,

I hope someone can help.

I have been away from the Linux arena for a very long while and at best, only had moderate exposure and knowledge to it. I therefore apologise if my questions appear trivial.

I have just built a workstation for a friends using Fedora Core 5 and they have been given a Samsung SCX-1000 Multi-function printer scanner. The problem I have is that I cannot find a driver for this device. I have tried a few Samsung drivers inside CUPS but I cannot get anything to work.

Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.

Hi Seve,

Many thanks for your reply. I have taken a look and there aren't drivers for this specific printer, but there is a driver for a more current printer in this family. I will give it at try.

Once again, many thanks!
