FC5-i386, Nvidia AGP GeForce6600 Fuzion Graphics. kernel-2.16.17-1.2145/i686 .
"nvidia" driver, kmod-nvidia is locking up video.
If I revert back to 2.16.17-1.2139 , using "nv" driver video works fine.

Thanks
Jim

I would like to add, that after I boot into KDE and somewhere I open a window, 'X' freezes but the mouse can be moved around , but with no effect.
I the have to hard shutdown and reboot , if I boot into a older kernel without kmod-nvidia installed and using the
'nv' driver everything is fine , no lockups.

Thanks
Jim

Hello:
Dunno for sure, however what you are experiencing may be a bug in the nvidia drivers as it seems very similar to this:http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=73033

Well HappyTux, I think I got it working normal now.
I set the 'Options' to: Option "NvAgp" "1"
2,3 wouldn't do it, it seems to like "NvAgp" "1" .
So what does that Option setting affect ??

Thanks vey much for your help
Jim
