I'm new FC and after installing the FC5 i had some troubles with my GF7600GT
but I've found in one of the FC5 faqs the instruction how to install it.

1. After the instalation I did full system update
2. Instaled the driver from livna

now the problem is when I start the system it says that the kernel is compatible
with the driver and the nvidia glx extention are fine. but when I check in X it says that the driver is vesa
and if I force the nvidia driver X just won't start. How can I get it work?
And by the way is it ok for Pentium 4 with HT support to use the smp kernel (that's what I got by default)?

Hello:
Open a terminal and log in as root
then type gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf
then change the Driver from "vesa" to "nvidia"
save and exit. Then restart X or reboot
