For me yum can't reach the freshrpms repository right now. Anyone else having this issue at the moment?

Seems like HEAnet is down, yup. Use a mirror :

{ayo,ftp}.{es6,pt,us5,...}.freshrpms.net

Or just be patient :-)

Cheers,
Matthias

i'll leave this to stan to take care of but name calling even in fun will get you banned according to the guidelines. also if you have a better solution or a quicker way that is Noobie friendly, then by all means post it

I owe Mr. Finley a great debt of gratitude. I could never have gotten my box up without his help. Including just now. The only name I'm calling is 'Genius'

If palling around with him gets me banned, then someone needs to breathe deep and read up on stress management.

Read the guidlines and you'll be fine
First your post count shows your new ( we do not know you)
second us Comm Managers need to stick together and back each other up.

Jim, dog, I'm with ya, but wasn't I backing him up too. Maybe the sense didn't convey, but wishing for more people like him in my business hardly seems like name calling.

Now, I know I wasn't alone in this admonishment, but come on, bro. Why quote me? :(
