I recently downloaded Java RPM plug-in for Mozilla FIrefox from the Java website. I didn't know exactly where to save it, so I let Firefox take care of that. But I wondered if I could have redirected the downloads to somewhere else.

Are there any large introductory tutorials amounting to about 100 pgs. for FC5?

If you are looking for help on setting up or getting most stuff to work as for internet stuff like Java, streaming video, DVD playback, updating, Macromedia, you can use the guide on www.fedorafaq.org to get going. It will tell you what to do to get those basic kinds of things to work

In Firefox, go to Tools > Options > Downloads.
