Problem with WaveLan/IEEE (orinoco-cs) WLAN in FC5

Hi everybody.

I have a VAIO (do not know the exact model) that has a Lucent WLAN card. It se wireless networks but when I try to connect to them it does not work. I use NetworkManager to do this. If I try to activate the WLAN using system-config-network I get the following error:

Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device eth1 ; Operation not supported.
Error for wireless request "Set Frequency" (8B04) :
SET failed on device eth1 ; Device or resource busy.

Determining IP information for eth1... failed; no link present. Check cable?

Using lshal I get the following (maybe) relevant information;

Does anybody have an idea how to fix the problem and be able to use the WLAN with this laptop?

Bumping up.
Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong or where I should start looking?
