I've got FC5, I installed xorg-x11-proto-devel-7.0-6
I tried to compile one aplication and after writting: ./configure I received following message:

checking for XF86VidModeQueryExtension in -lXxf86vm... no

*** Vidmode extension library not working ***

checking for X11/extensions/Xrandr.h... yes
checking for XRRSetScreenConfigAndRate in -lXrandr... no

*** XRandR extension library version >= 2.0 not found ***
*** RandR (Resize) support disabled ***
***(XRandR generally only supported in XFree86 >= 4.3)***

checking for X11/extensions/Xinerama.h... yes
checking for XineramaQueryVersion in -lXinerama... no

*** XINERAMA extension library not found ***

checking for X11/extensions/Xvlib.h... no
configure: error: ERROR: ***** X11 header (Xvlib.h) not found ******

I know that I need some libraries but I don't have idea where this packeges get from. Mayby somebody have more information about these libreries. How can I get them?

When in doubt, try pbone.net and search for the file. (If you have an internet connection you can also use yum for this purpose.) pbone.net thinks you need libXv-devel .
