Which Flash should I install? The one where I click "Install Missing Plugins" in Firefox, or the one from Yum? I've installed the one from Firefox but it doesn't work too well. It can't render Flash websites properly.

There's only one Flash for Linux, just with several different installation methods. If Flash doesn't work at all (you get the missing plugin icon), try the other installation method. If the Flash plugin is seen by Firefox but you get rendering problems, then the problem is in the plugin itself and you are out of luck.

hi,
this worked for me:
[root@baschti /]# cat /etc/yum.repos.d/macromedia.repo
[macromedia]
name=Macromedia for i386 Linux
baseurl=http://macromedia.rediris.es/rpm/
enabled=0
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=http://macromedia.mplug.org/FEDORA-GPG-KEY

Okay. How can I uninstall the Flash version which I installed through FF?

Use the "Tools -> Extensions" menu item in Firefox.

Use the "Tools -> Extensions" menu item in Firefox.

Doesn't work. Flash is not in the menu.

Doesn't work either. I deleted both files but Flash is still installed.

search for libflashplayer.so, should be located in
/usr/lib/firefox-XXXX/plugins/ (maybe symbolic link)
/usr/lib/flash-plugin/
