Hi!

I have a problem in installing FC5 on a b&w G3:
In fact I successfully finished the installation of FC5 on my G3. But it does not boot, although the bootloader was installed during the installation process.
That means, I get the grey screen with the mac os logo on it, when starting my computer.
The G3 had an empty HD before installing FC5 (no more OS X or other stuff).
I tried to boot manually my installation by using the FC5 installation cd 1 and inserting at the boot prompt:
hd:2,/vmlinuz root=/dev/hda3
Then it starts booting but this also doens't end successfully:
The message "Unable open initial console" is shown after some seconds and a little later
"Restarting System"
and it all starts from the beginning.

I have no more idea, what I could do.
Has anybody an idea, why my bootloader doesn't work at all?
Can anyone perhaps tell me, which command I could to insert at the boot prompt to try to boot successfully manually?

Please help! Thank's in advance,
