I have installed core 5 on my set, but am running into a strange problem. I have updated to the latest in an effort to get arounf the issue, but it has not helped.

Most everything runs fine, except I am having a problem with all of the browsers I us ...
Whenever I try to load a page that is not on the computer itself, the page is partially rendered then the entire system freezes.

I can ftp file using command line, check my email using evolution, but using ephiny or firefox freezes the system.

How do I begin to debug this?

I am running :
AMD 3800+
2GB of RAM
74 GB harddrive

Has anyone heard of this or have suggestions on debugging?

Jeff

Are you using KDE or Gnome? When the system is "frozen" could you still switch to a terminal (e.g. <ctrl><alt><f1>)

This is a huge problem of fedora, and I think the kernel is to blame. I've tried several distros, but all had random frezees when I used my browser. The only stable distro was slackware with 2.4 kernel.
