View Full Version : a4tech multimedia keys ??

Hey Guys,
i have been trying to get my multimedia keys on my a4tech keyboard..that one with the navigaton wheel bar..but i am facing several problems..
i found a great article on the forum..and look like it works for every one just fine..bt the problem is the rpm file posted by the user is not at the server right now..

can any body help me with skipping the rpm step in the article..can i do any thing else instead ??

Which model exactly do you have?
FC5 already supports several A4Tech keyboards, for example my KBS-8 is supported.

i have the KB(s)-26..but the multimedia key are not working..should i do any configurations or play with some settings ?

I am currently at work, so can't check exact syntax in xorg.conf.

However, if you use gnome, then it is possible to select keyboard from GUI.

i did so but with the control center of KDE..i choosed the KB(S)-21..but it still donot work..there is only the 8 and the 21 in the menu..
i am waiting for more answers..
i donot know why did not a4tech support the keyboard for Linux !! :mad:
