Right, I think maybe i psoted this in the wrong forum because my thread kinda dropped without being noticed. Anyway here is my problem

right, so it says fglrx.ko module for 2.6.15-5.2054-FC5 kernel not found PRI will not work within X with the ati-fglrx driver. Get an updated/suitable 'kernel-module-fglrx-<kexnelver>' rpm from rpm.livra.org.

Hello:
I think you need to first update your kernel from 2.6.15-5.2054-FC5 to something newer, if I am reading this correctly?
Which kernel are you running now ? $ uname -r
You can browse the livna repos to confirm, but I think you need at least the 2096 kernel installed. http://rpm.livna.org/fedora/5/i386/
Then follow the instructions here : http://www.stanton-finley.net/fedora_core_5_installation_notes.html#nVidia
and you should be good to go.

you gave him info on nvidia not ati as I have this same problem and I just ran the update for fc5. The update gave me the exact same error posted above.
