Hi All,

I work in an office where we use Fedora Linux machines for workstation use. We have a few NFS shared directories that reside on a freebsd server. After upgrading 2 machines to Fedora 5, Open Office always opens files from the shared NFS directories as read-only on these machines. There is no permissions problem. Gedit opens the files normally. The only detectable problem is with open office, so far.
The only way for us the edit these files with open office is to open them read-only, save them in our home directory, make changes, then drag them to the shared NFS directory and manually change the permissions. Its all quite strange.
Any idea why this is happening all of a sudden?
Thanks,
S
