Hello there,

im a linux greenhorn but i would like to test and play a bit with linux.I have got 2 sata hdds where each of them windows on the first partition is installed.I unplugged the second one while i installed Linux on the IDE hdd.In the Bios i changed the bootorder to first sata and than the ide hdd. After installallation i got the Boot problems to boot Windows. After i reconfigured the menue list like above

title Windows (hdb1)
rootnoverify (hd1,0)
map (hd0) (hd1)
map (hd1) (hd0)
makeactive
chainloader +1

it works fine. Now i plugged the second sata hdd.I tried to reconf the menue list but it didnt help. i also changed the hd numbers it didnt fix the problem.the second sata is recognized by linux and it is mounted.

Please would you advice me how to fix the problem.

Thank you in advanced.

Daniel
