MPlayer interrupted by signal 6 in module: decode_audio
- MPlayer crashed. This shouldn't happen.
It can be a bug in the MPlayer code _or_ in your drivers _or_ in your
gcc version. If you think it's MPlayer's fault, please read
DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there. We can't and
won't help unless you provide this information when reporting a possible bug.

I don't want to use Xine because its very very very slow with Xgl + Compiz... With AIGLX will be faster ? X11 in mplayer/xine working like slideshow.

Next problem: Wen starting mplayer -vo xvidix -v movie.mkv

How can I make it work ?

The first error seems to be audio related

MPlayer interrupted by signal 6 in module: decode_audio
As for the second... to tell you the truth, I don't really understand how to use the vidix driver. Anyway, there are particular reasons why you don't want to use the xv driver?

I'm not using XV because I have Xgl. It's not workink like it shoud ...movies are terribly slow on full screen. But it's doesnt matter I just wanted to try VIDIX. My biggest problem is figuring out how to use subtitles. Xine displaying subtitles with bad quality. I wonder why mplayer can't change audio tracks and subtitles on-the-fly (from GUI). It can't even use font and color of build-in subtitles... I have a feeling that my problem will never be resolved.
