I am using bittorrent-console with the nohup wrapper. nohup places all stdout data in a file, but bittorrent really have lots of output since it shows the updates of its stat outputing a new screen.

I'd like to keep only the last lines of the log, is possible in a easy way?
I tried deleting the file, but lost the stream nohup just do not create a new one, it outputs to /dev/null.
Do you have some idea?

In the man nohup I read:

NOTE: your shell may have its own version of nohup, which usually
supersedes the version described here. Please refer to your shell’s
documentation for details about the options it supports.

do bash/sh/zsh have one? What is its name?
Thanks
