View Full Version : php5, memory limit unalterable?

22nd May 2006, 01:00 AM

I have installed php5 via apt-get (fedora core 4), but I need to increase the memory limit due to a pdf processing script on the server.

I have increased the limit in /etc/php.ini (memory_limit = 64M) however this seems to have no effect. When I run a phpinfo() it still outputs that the memory limit as 8M. php5 also seems to be configured with "'--enable-memory-limit", so I don't know where else to turn in order to increase the memory limit.

Any ideas?

I'm assuming you use the Apache php module. You did restart httpd?
service httpd restart
