Hi,
Is there any application for centralized user management? I have many FC4 and FC5 servers in a same network and I don't want to log on to every server to add a new user. Any recommendations?

LDAP - is built specifically for this purpose.

Look at Fedora Directory Server (http://directory.fedora.redhat.com/wiki/Main_Page)

I've not used FDS in anger with any clients yet, but have messed around at home with it.

Cheers

Duncan

Edit: I have used other LDAP servers with clients - just to clarify. At the end of the day, you get a centralised user list that any machine can authenticate against.

If I'm not wrong then NIS could also be used for this purpose.

Sounds interesting so I just installed the FC5 rpm for fedora-ds. But:
