I installed the neat little Tomboy app >Tomboy Home Page (http://www.beatniksoftware.com/tomboy/) for FC5 via yum (version 0.3.5). Install + then Add to Panel

I've tried a few times. It installs okay, and creates notes okay.

However >

1. If I right click and select Open Plugins Folder it crashes.

2. I also tried the Date/Time Reminder plugin > Tomboy Reminder Plugin (http://raphael.slinckx.net/tomboy.php) but also had crashing problems, possibly related to the above problem.

Anyone have any success getting these working?

My experience with this: I do not get a crash from clicking on plugins, instead, it opens Konqueror and displays the plugins available. However, after installing the reminder DLL, it does crash on loading, and crashes the panel along with it. I'll look at this further when I can.

Yes, I've just noticed this too. Quite bizarre since I'm running Gnome (you too?).

Brahms, thanks for finding that bug report

that explains the problem as I am also running Gnome

mind you, it is surprising that Mono guys would require a KDE library for a mono app to work properly!

hopefully the bug gets fixed soon | Tomboy is way cool
