It took all day but i am posting this using my intel 3945ABG integrated wireless card!!!

Making it work:
notes:
*dont use latest stable ndiswrapper
*dont use latest dev ndiswrapper
*user ndiswrapper 1.14

1. install the 16k stack kernel and kernel-devel rpms or rebuild your kernel with 16k stacks instead of 4k
2. grab the 80MB driver .zip file from the intel website for the 3945ABG wireless card and extract it
3. extract ndiswrapper and cd into the directory
4. make
5. make install
6. #ndiswrapper -i /path/to/your/abovedrivers/Drivers/w39n51.inf
7. #ndiswrapper -l
8. #iwconfig wlan0 mode auto
9. #iwconfig wlan0 essid yourssidhere
10. #iwconfig wlan0 key restricted yourwepkeyhere
11. #ifconfig wlan0 up
12. #ifconfig wlan0 192.168.1.X

more notes:
* untill i did step 8 above i could not get the essid or the WEP key to stick
* i had to do step 10 more than once to get the restricted mode to stick
* if you are not using WEP shame on you
* I have no idea if all the settings i am using will stick after a reboot
* i added "alias wlan0 ndiswrapper to /etc/modprobe.conf and im assuming that will autoenable wlan0 at bootup
* i also added hangcheck_interval=-1 to the modprobe.conf line in hopes it will stop the periodic reset messages being logged to /var/log/messages

i hope this helps those of you struggling with ndiswrapper :)
