I just put Opera9 on Core 4 and its working great. I also have Firefox1.5. All is good with either. Opera packs a few more features, and comes with flash and java in the installation.

You do that using yum?

No just download the rpm for Fedora from the Opera site. Do this as root and extract it to usr/share/Opera9 then run the install.sh, log out of root and back into your regular user account. You should see Opera under applications/internet. Then just run it, and set it up as you like. Basicly Firefox is the same deal except Firefox program will just run when you click and you will need to make a launcher for the other users on you computer.
