Hi there, i want to install the ardour multi-tracker music application. As i read at the homepage there are already made packages cos they rely on Fedora Core 4. I have now Fedora Core 5 and i wonder if it is ok when i use apt to install Fedora Core 4 packages into FC 5.

The other thing is i only want this app to try out. Not a new kernel etc. Do you think this is possible.
Anyone tried it out ?

Thank you.

Use the yum repository:
http://ccrma.stanford.edu/~jos/planetccrma.repo

Most of the CCRMA stuff is outdated.

Thanx for the repo file. So if most of the files are outdated are they still usable under FC5 ?
The first entry in the repo is for updates, does this conflict in any way with the fedora-update repos ?

ardour and ecasound both are not found whe i use yum. Does this repository don't work anymore ?

Thanx.
