Could anyone help me ? I get this error when i'm trying to install fedora core 5 from the first cd, at boot time.

Did you sha1sum the ISOs before you burned them?

How do I do this ? I just downloaded the images and burn them with nero 6.
I use winxp

sha1sum returns exactly the same code like there...any solution now ?

When you boot the machine with the disk in the drive, lilo comes up. are you entering anything on that line or just hitting enter?

First it appears :"Unknown keyword in config file". Then I press enter but i get "Could not find kernel image: linux"

have you tried reburning the disc?

Type "/isolinux/vmlinuz initrd=/isolinux/initrd.img" (without the quotes) at the boot prompt and hit enter. This is a known bug on some systems.
