Hi,

I have recently installed Fedora Core x64 version on my system. However, when I try to see what are the softwares installed. I am getting a failure message box.

Also, I wanted to install ndiswrapper for my Linksys WUSB54g Ver. 4. I have downloaded the ndiswrapper RPM package. When I double click on that package it gets opened with some uzipping prog and not RPM package installer.

I am new to linux. Any help in this will be appriciated.

Thanking you in advance

The Add Remove Software (runs pirut) tries to connect to the internet to download packages, is your network up?

When you download an rpm <filename> save it somewhere in a directory like download, open a terminal window,
cd download
rpm -i <filename>.rpm

Thanks a lot JEO for your help.

I will try to run the RPM command you have suggested. Currently my network is not up as the wireless device is still now detected.
