Hi u all!

I am trying to install the alsaplayer on my fc5 but can't find any hints how to do that!
Has it been discontinued?
Doing a yum install I get something like that:
# yum -y install alsaplayer
Setting up Install Process
Setting up repositories
dries [1/6]
core [2/6]
updates [3/6]
freshrpms [4/6]
macromedia [5/6]
extras [6/6]
Reading repository metadata in from local files
Parsing package install arguments
No Match for argument: alsaplayer
Nothing to do

Any Help would be greatly appreciated!!!

You want aplay? It's alsa-utils package.

Alsaplayer used to maintained by freshrpms (http://www.alsaplayer.org/download.php3) but does not the case anymore. You can try other we use in fedora: http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=106220
