I was installing java from the info at http://www.fedorafaq.org/ and when I got to the command yum -y localinstall /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i586/java-1.5.0-sun-* I kept getting the error :

--> Processing Dependency: /usr/lib/libodbcinst.so for package: java-1.5.0-sun-jdbc

Error: failure: repodata/filelists.xml.gz from livna: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.

Can anyone suggest a resolution to this?

Thank You,
mike

I would suggest using http://www.stanton-finley.net/fedora_core_5_installation_notes.html#Java as your guide to installing Java. It is the most current as well as an oft proven method.
