I get this when trying to write an iso file using cdrecord in the context of root. Can anyone send me a link so i can research and try to fix? Thanks!

I am using a Philips CDRW800. Worked fine in Windows, trying to make it work with Linux...

oops, read the other post on cdrecord...

Adding ATA: to the dev= line DOES work like a charm. So kudos to that fellow as well!
