Hi,
Is anyone using smartpm on x86_64 in FC5? Does it handle packages in both 32- and 64-bit versions just like yum does (I mean two variants of the same package installed)? I'd like to give
it a try, but just want to make sure smartpm is safe in multi-arch environment.

In general, what are your opinions about smartpm?

yes, smartpm works with multiarch packages. The first impression you will probably have is the responsivness of the applications. It seems to work much faster than anything yum-based and, what's important, it works with yum repositories

Wow, indeed, it's blazing fast! Plus the GUI as well as CLI are very nice. Definately worth trying. Thanks.
