hello there..

i see you are cool enough to have an o2 xda :D

i have one to you see and therfore think im cooler then most ppl here :P

as for your syncho battles.. it can be done.. it has been done.. but it wasnt by me :P

i tried and tried and tried and frustratingly gave up,(this was under fc4 mind you) but please dont let that put you off, i dare say im lacking what others would call a "clue" and hence my lack of success.

Now. i did manage to set up SynCe, which is pretty straighforward if you follow their great howto, what i did fail on, was the Synconisation with Evolution, which by reports, works just as well as Outlook.

SyneCe even had a little icon in my toolbar where i could install and uninstall any program, and even a command line tool for installing cab files etc etc. really was cool for basic file organising, Just dont forget to open the required ports in your firewall to allow it to work properly, as i didnt and spent the good part of 3 days scratching at my head. :P

OH yes sorry. Multisync is the other program which you use in conjuction with SynCe and Evolution to set up a working partnership..

If you succedd. please come back and let me no what you did :P

Read and like anything in the world of *nix read carefully, and no doubt you'll pick up what i missed, and be back to laught at how silly i was :P

Oh.. note the difference between Multisync, and MultiSynK which is probably already installed under your accessories menu. although they look almost identical, i em told that they are by no means related and do complety different things. either way.. you'll need Multisync from the above link ;)

Ummm...Hello All :)
I have a related question and was wondering if i can post it here!!!? I guess i can dare to :)
The question is: I have an i-mate JAMin with WM5 and a great Unlimited GPRS Plan. I just recently started exploring FC5 as an alternative OS (I have a Dual Boot machine at the moment with WinXP Pro & FC5).
Now I wanted to use the GPRS Connection that I have on FC5. On WinXP Pro, its a straight forward matter, they provide a Config.ini File and even a Modem Dialer and all I have to do is to install the modem and dial it using the Dialer. But can i do it on FC5?

I have the Config file and if someone can, maybe, modify it for use on FC5, i can post the file here...

Thank You.
