I was a bit stupid and I have deleted the contents of /usr/lib/locale and /usr/share/locale.
Now I get an error in Yum, and I cant update.....
how can I fix the problem, where can I find the old configuration files?

P.S. i did so, because I had more than 40 languages, that i dont use. how can i configure /etc/sysconf/i18n to use only the en_US folder?

thank You in advance!!!

This may be a long shot, but if you can boot up on a rescue disc, you might find the files there. If so, simply mount /usr and copy the files over. Hopefully, that will get you up and running.

so, i couldn't solve my problem yet, can somebody just tell me the file-content of the both folders, just the files, not the language folders, and if the scripts are not too big, can someone just post them here for me....

thanx :) !
