I didn't know if it is dump question or not .However all I want to ask about is how to make a full backup of my fc5 installation and configuration , my partition seems to be like that

/boot 100MB
/ 7GB
swap 1024MB

How to backup that to protect my self for any future crashes

And what's your advices about partitioning a 80GB H.D.D in ext3 file system, for desktop use.

Firewing1 has written a simple script that might be helpful: http://www.nongnu.org/script-wing/backups.html

There's also Ghost for linux http://freshmeat.net/projects/g4l/ and simply typing "linux backup" in Google will give you many options.

As to partitioning that 80 gig; it's all in what you're using it for - besides the swap space, maybe 5-8 gig for root and the rest set aside as /home?

For SELinux protected partitons use star.
There is how-to around somewhere but I can't find it.
