Im using fedora core 4 right now. Should I upgrade to fedora 5? What extra features will I get?

the greatest advantage I can see so far is that gnome is faster and has leaner system resource usage. Also, the udpated kernel 2.6.16-1.2080_FC5 is better. I'm sure there are others, but these are the ones that stick out to me.

You could check out the release notes for all of the details, but most notable changes include the new installer routine and updated Gnome and KDE. I think the Xwindows environment is speedier than it was in FC4....but not a night and day difference.

If your FC4 box is running well and you are happy with it, I would suggest staying there for a while. From what I have seen in testing FC5 on a spare box, there isn't enough there to make me replace my FC4 full time box yet. Still experiencing numerous problems and working some of them out here with others on this site.
