I have been searching for a while and can find a response to my issue. I'm trying to setup two windows partitions, one is fat32 and the other ntfs.

The problem I have is that when trying to fdisk -l /dev/hda I get the following error bash: fdisk: command not found. I tried installing fdisk but the installer says it is already installed. Please give me any suggestions. Thanks in advance1!!

Hi:
Open a terminal and login as root and then run fdisk -l
It should work, if not post back.

Thanks for the reply. But I get the same error again.

[norman@localhost ~]$ su
Password:
[root@localhost norman]# fdisk -l
bash: fdisk: command not found
[root@localhost norman]#

Don't forget he's new, so he might not know how to log in as root through terminal. Try this:

Open terminal and type:

su -
fdisk -l

Note, it'll ask you for a password, type in your root password.
