Hi,
I just made a step from FC3 to FC5, and everything's looking very nice!

Some things I haven't figured out yet:

In stead of Up2Date, FC5 is equipped with PUP (Package UPdater). I'm sure it works as a charm.... But where to change the SETTINGS?

What I want PUP to do, is download updated packages, and store them on a fileserver before unpacking.

Can anyone tell me where I can find PUP's config-files?

Thanks.

Pup is just a updater that uses yum. If you want a full blown package manager, use pirut. The configuration settings for yum is in /etc/yum.conf

Thanks.
I think this is indeed what I'm looking for.

Can I apply the following:
(note: server is a M$ windows 2000 server)

cachedir=//server/backup/yum
keepcache=1
