For the life of me I don't know what is going on. I can't seem to install anything via Yum.
I'm trying to install anything that will play my MP3's first. Then I'll move on to video/codecs after that. When I type "yum install xmms-mp3" or "yum install mplayer" the package cannot be found. Even the mplayer-fonts and stuff can't be found. I followed the update repositories from the fedorafaq's and still cannot find any of the packages I want to install. Has something changed since the documentation? Are these packages no longer available? I don't see them in a yum search either. If these packages are not available, what does everyone use to listen to MP3's and video? I'm also looking to have the browser pluggins work with these too if possible.

Thanks for the great link. But I now can't install anything because of this yum error:

Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: core
