Hi.
I followed the instructions given at the following link
http://forums.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=91414&highlight=installing+realplayer
The file downloaded to my desktop and I moved it to my home folder as directed. When I put rpm -ivh * .rpm in a terminal I got this error: Desktop: not an rpm package (or package manifest): Is a directory. I've tried this a few times but always get the same error. What am I doing wrong? I use FC4. Thanks

You are puting it wrong: there should'nt be a space between the "*" and the ".rpm", I think the only file matching "*" must be "Desktop"...
you can copy this code:

rpm -ivh *.rpm

Download realplayer from www.real.com/linux and do chmod +x filename.bin and then ./filename.bin and that's all. Works out of the box, I'm using fedora core 5

[CODE]rpm -ivh *.rpm
I get this error when I put this information in.
error: File not found by glob: *.rpm

I needed to install compat-libstdc++-33 and then Realplayer installed without problems.
