View Full Version : Get rid of Grub

In deleting a partition on my laptop to get rid of a bad install, grub was left on my hda partiton and now when I try to boot to my Windows OS, all I get is GRUB>. I have tried several utilities to get rid of it, but when I try reading either my A drive or cd-rom, it tells me to remove it and hit any key, which of course brings up Grub.
Yes I can format reinstall Fedora, but I'd lose my Windows OS,which at this early stage, I don't want to. Any ideas other biting the bullet and losing Windows?

Thanks again

Use your rescue cd, then type in:

fdisk /mbr
