Hi...

I am so glad that I have no any dificulties or obstacle in installing FC 5. It is great! Especially Pirut!!! So I do not have to install yumex or other Package Manager! My USB HardDisk runs well

But  Flash Plug In for Mozilla and Firefox 1.5 did not work at all, thouh the installation is correlty executed. After installation the flash pugins, log out the session an log back in, Moz and Firefox keep asking the missing plugins! Why? What makes the problem?

Thanks Seve, Now Flash Plugins is perfecly runs...
By the way... is it true that FC5 always require internet connection fo do all package installation such as Flash Plugins. In past time such FC 4, manual instal always work!

Manual RPM installations are possible on FC5. For example, I've downloaded "w32codecs" from ATRPMS and installed it manually by double clicking on the file. This procedure also seems to check for dependencies... which I dont know if FC4 did!??

nucleus,

I have installed the "flash-plugin" by following the instructions on this page (http://macromedia.mplug.org/). Basically it's the same as following the Stanton Finley link above, however there's a small bug that this site teels how to correct it (only on FC5).

Yes, itīs installed allright!
Try uninstalling it and then install it again.

Did you use the commands that were on the website I previously mentioned:
"mkdir -p /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fs/
ln -s /etc/X11/fs/config /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fs/config"? It should only afect text on flash and not flash itself, but...

I'm sorry but my knowledge on Linux is limited and I can only help you this much. Maybe someone else can have a better clue on how to solve your problem.

By the way, are you using the "NoScript" Firefox extension that might be blocking Flash from running?

nope...
and for
mkdir -p /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fs/
ln -s /etc/X11/fs/config /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fs/config"

...same thing...
