In my attempt to do some basic programming on my box running Fedora Core 5, I discovered I moved a few directories around by mistake. I think I have everything straight except for one directory. I discovered a directory /.rh-fontconfig at the top of
directory structure that I hadn't noticed before this mistake.

Is this a default directory on all FC5 systems or is this possibly one of my directories that got relocated by mistake?

Sorry for the silly question, I have just been trying to figure out where my script went wrong and this last issue is driving me crazy!

That directory is yours :).

FWIW, the Linux directory structure is defined/explained here:

http://www.pathname.com/fhs/pub/fhs-2.3.html

robatino: That man page is slightly out of date, as it shows the 2.2 version of the FHS. Fedora has /media and /srv, which I think came in with the FHS 2.3 specification.
