Hello All. I have a question about 'pwc' driver support, hopefully I'm saying that correctly. My Logitech can receive fine but can't send video. Also Ekiga can't detect my webcam. When I run 'dmesg' at the prompt I get the following:

usb 4-2.3: USB disconnect, address 5
usb 4-2.3: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 7
usb 4-2.3: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
pwc: Unknown parameter `index'
pwc: Unknown parameter `index'
pwc: Unknown parameter `index'

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running 2.6.16-1.2070_FC5.

One question, how can a web cam possibly receive video?

Back to the webcam, I have a Logitech Quickcam Pro 3000 and
even in the newest kernels (I built my own 2.16.15-1.1833_FC4
from the src.rpm) I can't get the pwc module in the kernel to
work (using camstream, the image just shows a grey screen).
I got it to work by going to

http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/files/

and building the source from there and using that module
instead of the one in the fedora kernel
