ok, i recently downloaded boinc_5.2.13_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh which is the BOINC client for linux i guess when i run it i get this: gedit was not able to automatically detect the character coding. Please, check that you are not trying to open a binary file and try again selecting a character coding in the 'Open File...' (or 'Open Location') dialog. Anyhow i was wondering if there is a Fedora specific verison of SETI@Home that I can download and install. Thanks.

The BOINC site (http://boinc.berkeley.edu/index.php) has instructions (http://boinc.berkeley.edu/sea.php) for installing the Unix/Linux version.
