FC5 on Dell Dimension 9100

I have Dell Dimension 9100 desktop. Now I installed FC4. The ethenet on board is not supported by FC4, but I download the driver from intel and it works well. The hard disk is SATA and it works well. The sound card on board can not work. One article said I should update the kernel, but after I update the kernel, SATA is not supported. I didnot try to recompile the kernel.

I believe FC5 support SATA, and ethenet on board (I tried FC5test3). The question is, does FC5 support the sound card on board? Information from someone who tried FC5 on dell demension 9100 is appreciated.

yes i have a inspiron 9300, everything is supported in fc4 and fc5
i believe the 9100 is very similar to mine but do you know ur ethernet controller and sound card:
ex mine is broadcom 4400 ethernet, and sigmatel (intel) audio
as for SATA
make sure and do yum update
need the latest kernel
