Currently logged in users

I just noticed that two root users are logged into my box:

[dan@linuxserver ~]$ users
dan root root

I'm not sure where from:

[dan@linuxserver ~]$ finger root
Login: root Name: root
Directory: /root Shell: /bin/bash
On since Sun Dec 18 11:37 (GMT) on :0 (messages off)
On since Thu Feb 23 15:15 (GMT) on pts/2 from :0.0
8 days 6 hours idle

No Plan.

I'm assuming that both those users are local, and nothing to be too worried about?

try running the command: w

192.168.1.11 is now me being naghty and using root.

I just logged into the server using VNC, and there was a shell session open, along with 50 samba configuration windows...
Looks like they keyboard accidently got batted during a cleaning session, resulting is strange things happening!

I suspect it isn't often you can put down a linux problem to dusting
