Thumbs up File Menu Application's

is there a way to obtain all of the executible's of the programs in the file menu.
I am looking for a file that may hold all of these or something like that.

If I'm not mistaken for every item in the menu there is a shell script that will fire that application, well i want an easy way to get all of them scripts. If there is a file could you point me in the right direction.

The menu entires are contained in .desktop files, many of them in /usr/share/applications.

You may want a menu editor like alacarte.
Code:
yum install alacarte
