CD's rejected???

I have downloaded and burned all 4 cd's for the install but have a problem with all dics.

Every doscs gets a failure when media tested at the begining of the install process.

I have made 2 sets of install dics but everyone gets a failure warning.

I am using ISOrecorder to make the cd's.

Any ideas???

How about using k3b - to me it's the best one for any burning task. 'yum install k3b' then look under tools for burn cd image

Ah, then you'll want this freebie: http://www.cdburnerxp.se/ - Click on the ISO button and follow the simple instructions - always made perfect CD's for me.

" The mediacheck function is highly sensitive, and may report some usable discs as faulty. This result is often caused by disc writing software that does not include padding when creating discs from ISO files."
- Continuing on response by 'Spoon'.

Read the link given by 'Spoon'. Will clear out many doubts you have.

also indicate which CD burner are you using on the Win XP machine.
