grub not booting to new kernel version

Okay, I downloaded the kernel version 2.6.15.2, configured, built it including the modules and installed the modules and created the linux binary image. Also created the initial ramdisk file and stored them in /boot directory just like for the other kernel versions. I pretty much followed the steps posted in this website. But when I try to boot to that kernel version I get the error

Error 15: File not found.

I have it set up exactly the same way as I had for the other versions; just changed /boot/grub/grub.conf to add in the new version. So I am stumped yet again by the great linux machine, and no idea where to go.

Can you paste your /boot/grub/grub.conf here and also the output of this command as well?
Code:
ls -la /boot

yeah sure. Here is the output from /boot/grub/grub.conf. I have a lot versions I need to get rid of but thats for another time. To make it clear I have marked the relevant files in bold.

Hope this helps. I didn't think this helps at all but just to make sure I did try renaming it to vmlinuz-2.6.15.2 and running. However, it was just a namechange and didn't do anything.

Also I tried going to the grub command line typed in 'find /boot/bzImage-2.6.5.2' and it returned the same error; File not found.

But then again I tried for the others too and it still returned the same ?? I need to advice please and thank you.
