Hello all,
I am trying to create and document a baseline configuration for Oracle9iR2 on RHEL4 (I know, it is older FC code but this is a superior resource to RHN's KB and I've exhausted Google). I failed to install the prerequisite 'X Software Development' cluster when I installed the OS, which is causing a cascading series of dependencies.
Since I have not yet yummed the system to patch it I was hoping that there was a way to rerun Anaconda and add the X Devel cluster. I know that I could grab the RPMs of the install media and sort things out by hand, but I am trying to engineer and document the installation in a manner that can be reliably reproduced by a less experienced customer. And I really don't want to have to slick and start from scratch.
Any of you guys know any secret boot switches to do this? Or can I install 'clusters' such as the ones that Anaconda offers via the Package Manager within Gnome or KDE?
Thanks for any help!
Justin
