Mp3's on xmms: xmms-mp3 decoder install error.

Ok, I know this topic has been beat to death, and I have perused many help files and just can't seem to figure this out.

I have installed xmms without issue and am attempting to install the mp3 decoder using YUM. When I try thought I get the following report:

yum install xmms-mp3
Setting up Install Process
Setting up repositories

You need to install a repository that contains xmms-mp3. See Fedora Core 4 Installation Notes.

I'm fairly certain that I'm following those instructions properly. I've even tried downloading the rpm for the mp3 decoder directly and linking to it that way, same results. XMMS is playing all other files fine though.

Follow the (entire) yum section of Fedora Core 4 Installation Notes. Then do a "yum -y install xmms xmms-mp3" as root.

Ahh, I see now. I originally just did a YUM update, without changing the configuration for it beforehand.

I've installed the mp3 decoder and it works fine now... after over 207 total updates lol.
